Terms of use

These terms govern the use of redhotguide.pt. By using the site, you accept them. The service provider is identified in the Legal notice.

1. What Red Hot Guide is

Red Hot Guide is an information directory of legal adult entertainment venues: strip clubs, swinger clubs, saunas, fetish, cabaret, sex shops, lingerie, motels, pole dance studios, boudoir photography, stag and hen parties, fairs and parties. The guide does not sell or provide the services of those venues, takes no bookings, charges visitors nothing and plays no part in payments between visitors and venues.

2. Adults only

Access is for adults aged 18 or over. By entering, you confirm you are 18 or older.

3. What gets into the guide

Only legal venues, with an identified business and a public address. The guide never lists escorts, brothels, personal ads or any offer of sexual services. If you know of a listing that breaks these rules, write to guia@redhotguide.pt and we will remove it.

4. Verified and unverified listings

Verified listings have been confirmed with the venue, and the date and method of verification are shown. Listings marked "Unverified" were written from public sources, such as the venue's own website, guides and maps, and have not yet been confirmed. Hours, prices and entry rules change: always check with the venue before going.

5. How listings are ordered

In city, category and search lists, listings appear in this order:

  • first, featured listings, which venues pay to place at the top and which carry the label "Sponsored";
  • then, listings paid for by venues (verified listing);
  • finally, all the others.

Within each group, verified listings come before unverified ones, then alphabetical order by name. Payment therefore affects position. If you chose a city in "Near you", venues in that city appear first, followed by those in the nearest cities. In search, listings appear when their name, category or city matches what you typed. On the home page, featured listings appear in rotation or, if you chose a city, the listings nearest to it.

6. Advertising

Featured listings, featured events and sponsorships are advertising paid for by venues and are labelled as such. Verified listings are also a paid service. The guide takes no commission on what visitors spend at venues and has no affiliate links.

7. Texts, photographs and trademarks

The guide's texts belong to Red Hot Guide. Venue photographs belong to the venues, which published them on their own websites and social media or sent them to the guide; Red Hot Guide holds no rights over them. Images marked "Illustrative image" do not depict any specific venue. Venue names and trademarks belong to their owners.

8. Corrections and removals

Any venue may ask for its listing, or a photograph, to be corrected or removed by writing to guia@redhotguide.pt. We usually reply within five working days.

9. Permitted use

You may browse the guide and share links to its pages. Search engines and artificial intelligence assistants may read the site under the terms of the robots.txt file. Systematically copying the content to build another directory, or using listing contacts for mass advertising, is not allowed.

10. Links to other sites

Listings link to venues' websites and social media. Red Hot Guide does not control those sites and is not responsible for their content.

11. Liability

The guide's information is given with care but without a guarantee that it is always complete and up to date. Red Hot Guide is not responsible for what happens at venues or for the services they provide. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives consumers or liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence.

12. Complaints and disputes

You can complain by email or in the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book. In a consumer dispute, you may turn to the Portuguese National Consumer Arbitration Centre (CNIACC), at www.cniacc.pt, or to the consumer arbitration centre of your region; alternative dispute resolution bodies are listed on the Portuguese Consumer Portal. Portuguese law applies.

13. Changes

These terms may change. The version in force is the one published here, with the date of the last update.
