Motel Fonte dos Amores was Coimbra's first motel and is on Rua Fetal in Torre de Vilela, on the northern outskirts of the city. The concept differs from the usual roadside motel: 50 contemporary-design suites inspired by eras of Coimbra's architecture, from the Middle Ages to Romanesque, Manueline, Renaissance, Baroque and Neoclassical, each with its own mood.
