Hen party in Porto: ideas, places and prices
Porto has everything a hen party asks for within two kilometres: pole dance classes in the morning, a boat on the Douro in the afternoon, dinner with a show and the north's only male strip club at night. This article gives an itinerary with prices and the houses that work well with groups.

Morning: pole dance or boudoir
Porto's pole dance schools (Pole Dance Porto, La Bunda, Studio UP!) run private classes for hen groups, with an hour of technique and choreography and a lot of laughter, for around 20 to 30 euros per person. Alternatively, a group boudoir photo session, with a professional photographer and production, to take home something that lasts.
Afternoon: the Douro
A catamaran or private boat between the Ribeira and Foz, two hours with drinks, between 40 and 70 euros per person. VIP Party Portugal organises it; see the stag and hen page.
Dinner
The Lingerie Restaurant Porto serves dinner with models in lingerie and a show, no nudity, and is the city's most requested hen dinner. For something more classic, the Baixa and the Galerias de Paris area have restaurants that take noisy groups.
Night
Champanhe Club Feminino is the north's male striptease house for a female audience, with a show and tables for groups. For a private striptease at home or in the hotel, the organisers (Mundial Eventos, Enzo Moments) hire professional performers; striptease, not sexual services.
What it costs
A full day between 100 and 200 euros per person. Ask an organiser for a fixed quote if the group has more than ten people: it comes out cheaper than booking everything separately.
Tips
Book a month ahead in May, June and September. Agree with each house what the group wants and does not want; the show for the bride is arranged beforehand. And keep the phone in your pocket inside the clubs.
