Boudoir photography in Portugal
4 places
Boudoir photography is the intimate, elegant portrait: lingerie, soft light, a bedroom or a prepared studio, and a photographer who knows how to direct someone who has never posed. It is a gift for yourself or for someone else, and increasingly a way to celebrate your body on a milestone date.
The studios in this guide work with a contract, guaranteed privacy and delivery of images digitally or in an album.

Boudoir photography
Je Suis, Fotografia Boudoir
Boudoir-only studio in Baixa-Chiado, since 2004, with sessions from 240 euros
The session
It lasts one to three hours. It starts with a conversation about what you want to show and what you do not; many studios include hair and make-up. Bring two or three outfits (lingerie, a man's shirt, a dress) and something personal. The photographer directs every pose; you do not need to know how to pose.
Prices
A session with make-up and a set of edited images costs 150 to 450 euros. Printed albums and extra images are paid separately.
Privacy
The images are yours. The contract should state that the photographer does not publish them without written permission, and serious studios delete originals on request. Ask before booking.
